Creasti ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Creasti mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Financial Goal Data: Savings goals, deposit amounts, and progress you enter into the app. We do not access your actual bank accounts unless you explicitly connect them.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including streaks, XP earned, coach conversations, and feature usage.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens for delivering reminders.
• Receipt Data: If you use the receipt scanner, we process the scanned text to extract spending information. Images are not stored after processing.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Creasti Service
• Personalize your AI coach responses based on your savings behavior
• Send you streak reminders, milestone notifications, and weekly savings recaps
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product
• Respond to your support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database storage, and analytics. We use Anthropic's API to power the AI coach. These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Family Circles: If you join a Family Circle, your savings progress and streak data will be visible to other members of that circle. You control who you invite.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase Security Rules that prevent unauthorized access to your data, and authentication controls. Your financial goal data is stored in your personal Firestore document accessible only to your authenticated account.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we begin the deletion process within 30 days. You can request account deletion at any time from within the app or by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

Creasti is rated 4+ on the App Store and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Data portability

9. Push Notifications

We send push notifications for streak reminders, deposit encouragement, and weekly recaps. You can disable these at any time in your device's notification settings or within the Creasti app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Creasti after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
